Our Services & Therapeutic Approach

At California Pacific Counseling Center, we specialize in trauma-informed care that honors the mind-body connection and the complexity of each person’s inner world. Our clinicians are trained in advanced modalities including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Grief Counseling and Somatic Therapy to support deep healing and lasting transformation.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps clients explore and heal the “parts” within the protective, wounded, and resilient aspects of self. By fostering compassionate internal dialogue and cultivating Self-leadership, we guide individuals toward greater emotional clarity, integration, and empowerment.

EMDR Therapy is a powerful, evidence-based approach for resolving trauma and distressing memories. Through bilateral stimulation and structured phases, clients can safely reprocess past experiences, reduce emotional reactivity, and restore a sense of agency and calm.

Somatic Therapy reconnects clients with their bodies as vital sources of wisdom and healing. Using breathwork, movement, and nervous system regulation techniques, we help release stored tension, restore boundaries, and build resilience from the inside out.

Grief Support explores the stages of grief; acknowledge both the negative and positive feelings that come up.
